     The Washington Department of Veteran Affairs has administers many Washington State benefits for Veterans.  They publish a stellar newsletter six times a year: Veteran Voices.  To receive it, simply sign up and you will be provided the email link to the copy on their website.  Archive copies are also there.  They advertise some of our state's Veteran benefits, including DoL's having the word "Veteran" on our Washington driver's License or ID Card, having "Branch of Service" License plates.  Also DNR State Parks benefits for 100% disabled Veterans on hunting and fishing licenses, state park admission,in some cases, Department of Revenue tax relief in some cases, and so forth.  They also sponsor "Town Hall" meetings around the state several times a year and involve as many Veteran Service Organizations as possible, to discuss and share information on new benefits, both from the federal level and the state, as well as discovering system deficiencies in the delivery of services to Veterans.   Below are some links to pages on their website.
